Are You Intellectually Invisible?

I was, and here’s how I changed.

I spoke, but no one heard.
I wrote, but no one read.
I tweeted, but no one ‘liked.’

No smiley face.
No saving grace.

What to do?
Do I continue?

Crickets, grasshoppers…so many pests
Will I ever reach my best?
Not now, not ever, is the time to rest.

A beacon lay ahead of me.
Oh, so far, but I can slightly see.

Impressions, more impressions, and just some more clicks.
Double down Gary and cut back on Netflix!

The goal now doesn’t appear unfeasible.
No longer the life of the intellectually invisible.
